Changing Internet Connection

Your Smartpay Android terminal must be connected to the internet to process transactions. It can connect via built-in 4G SIM card (provided by us!), your existing business Wi-Fi and even mobile hotspot. If you ever need to change the connection for your terminal, follow the steps below.

How to Manually Add Network:

1. Add network with SSID

i) Swipe down from the very top of the terminal screen to bring up Wi-Fi, bluetooth or mobile data options.

ii) Touch and hold the Wi-Fi icon to bring up a list of available Wi-Fi connection options.

iii) Scroll to the bottom of the list of the Wi-Fi connections list and tap on ‘Add    

    network’.

ivi) Enter the SSID and password.

2. Add network with Wi-Fi QR Code:

i) Swipe down from the very top of the terminal screen to bring up Wi-Fi, bluetooth or mobile data options.

ii) Touch and hold the Wi-Fi icon to bring up a list of available Wi-Fi connection options.

iii) Scroll to the bottom of the Wi-Fi connection list and tap on the QR icon   

    next to  ‘Add network’.

iiv) Scan your Wi-Fi QR code to connect (Make sure the QR code is centred)
